If your garage door open and close status are not correct, there is likely a problem with the door sensor. Please try the following:
- Make sure that the sensor and the magnet are making contact. You can test this by opening/closing the door and checking if the sensor fires an event (a red LED will blink). If the red LED doesn’t blink, it means the sensor and magnet are not close enough, and you need to move them closer.
- If the sensor and magnet are making contact but the red LED doesn’t blink, the sensor battery is likely empty. Please see this page for more details on how to change the battery.
- If the red LED blink, but the status doesn’t change in the app, the sensor is not properly linked to your garage door. Please open the app, go to your garage door settings and click the “link sensor” item.
